Krk Granfondo Falkensteiner Punat

Embark on an exciting cycling adventure on the picturesque Island of Krk! Join the Krk Granfondo 2026, an exciting race covering a scenic 82-kilometer route. This stunning ride will take you through some of the Island’s most enchanting landscapes, offering an unforgettable experience of Krk’s diverse terrain.

Starting from the charming town of Punat, participants will ride towards the City of Krk, continuing through idyllic places such as Malinska, Njivice, Omišalj, Dobrinj, Vrbnik, and finally towards Baška, exploring the island’s rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes.

The 3rd Krk Granfondo Falkensteiner Punat will take place on the Island of Krk on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00.

Due to the high level of safety required for this international race, special traffic regulations will be in force across the entire island.

Road closure schedule:

• Center of Punat: 09:30 – 10:10
• State road D102 from Punat to Omišalj: 09:30 – 11:15
• Road from Omišalj to Čižići: 10:45 – 11:30
• Road from Čižići (Soline, Hlapa, Gostinjac, Risika) to Vrbnik: 10:45 – 12:00
• Road from Vrbnik to the D102 junction: 11:15 – 12:30
• D102 above Punat to Baška (descent to Baška, through Draga Bašćanska and Jurandvor; through Baška center via Zvonimirova Street, turnaround via Ante Starčević Street, return through Jurandvor and Draga Bašćanska): 11:30 – 13:15
• Road from Kornić roundabout to ŽC5125 Punat: 12:00 – 14:00

Residents of the Island of Krk are kindly asked to follow the instructions of the police and race stewards to ensure the safety of all competitors. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The Punat Tourist Board invites all interested citizens to support this international race and join the stewards in ensuring safe passage along the cycling route.
