From October 10th to 12th, 2025, Baška once again becomes the epicenter of the outdoor world — a place where nature, sports, fun, and an incredible atmosphere meet.

For years, this festival has attracted everyone from casual adventurers to professional athletes, from families with children to those seeking a great time. The reason is simple: Baška offers over 120 km of well-maintained hiking and cycling trails, four climbing sites, and a unique zipline — all of which come alive in full splendor during the festival!

Organized through a partnership between the Tourist Board of the Baška Municipality and Valamar Riviera, with support from Porto Club Baška and numerous sports organizers, the festival is the perfect opportunity to escape everyday life, enjoy spectacular landscapes, and try something new. This year, the festival is further elevated with strong support from the Kvarner County Tourist Board through the Kvarner Outdoor project, making the Baška Outdoor Festival an even more significant part of the region’s outdoor offerings.

ZIP & FLY (October 10th–12th, 2025)

If you want to kick off the weekend with a thrill, the unmissable Zipline Edison is the way to go! Experience an off-road vehicle ride, a short walk through intact nature, and then — a flight along cables stretching over 2.4 kilometers. As the wind carries you, the breathtaking views of Baška, the sea, and Prvić Island will leave you speechless.

A special novelty this year is Axe Throwing — targeted axe-throwing, a unique adrenaline-pumping activity. The combination of ziplining and this exciting game creates a memorable experience, available at a special promotional price only during the festival!

Krk ’n’ Roll MTB Marathon (October 11th, 2025)

Baška has long been a top destination for cyclists, and the highlight of the season is the Krk ’n’ Roll MTB Marathon, a race that brings together hundreds of cyclists from across the region.

Three carefully designed routes — 72 km, 48 km, and 27 km — offer challenges for everyone, from those aiming for the podium to those looking to test their limits and enjoy the ride. Warm autumn sun, trails winding through diverse landscapes, and a sense of sporting camaraderie make this race a true spectacle. If you’re a cyclist, there’s no better way to close out the season!

Krk ’n’ Trail (October 11th, 2025)

For runners and nature lovers, Krk ’n’ Trail is an essential part of the festival. This year marks its 15th edition, bringing a special treat—a brand-new route connecting Baška and Stara Baška!

Notably, Krk ’n’ Trail is Croatia’s first trail race, a pioneering project in the domestic outdoor scene that laid the foundation and inspired the creation of numerous other trail races across Croatia. This tradition gives the race special significance and value.

Choose from three categories — 7 km, 14 km, and 24 km — each leading through the unique landscapes of the southwestern ridge of the Baška valley. Bays, karst landscapes, and breathtaking views make this race an unforgettable experience, whether you’re looking for a leisurely pace or a true challenge.

Touch the Sky (October 11th–12th, 2025)

For those who want to see the world from above, it’s time for sport climbing! With instructors from Anima Adventures, you’ll try climbing on natural rock faces that will take your breath away.

On Saturday, the Portafortuna climbing site awaits, while Sunday takes you to Belove Stene. Whether you’re lacing up climbing shoes for the first time or have experience, a safe and thrilling adventure awaits — completely free of charge. The reward? Unforgettable views you’ll never forget.

Rocky Hill Hike Tour (October 12th, 2025)

To close the festival, embark on a hike that combines beauty, tranquility, and endurance. This year’s hiking tour takes you to the eastern Baška ridge, along a trail that reveals the wonders of the karst landscape.

Over 13 kilometers, you’ll follow dry stone walls, pass picturesque bays and beaches, with the highlight at Vela Luka — a hidden bay perfect for rest and photography. The ascent to the Rebica viewpoint offers a panorama stretching to Prvić Island and the Velebit ridge. This hike will show you Baška from a whole new perspective.

Beyond the adrenaline on the trails, the Baška Outdoor Festival offers a rich accompanying program to complete the experience! Throughout the weekend, the central hub for fun and socializing will once again be Porto Club Baška, transforming into the main gathering place with concerts, a DJ program, and a relaxed zone for all visitors. The schedule also includes an inspiring lecture to spark reflection and motivate adventure enthusiasts. Details are coming soon, but one thing is certain: an unforgettable atmosphere and top-notch fun await!

The youngest visitors and their families won’t be left out this year either! The Family Outdoor Corner, located in the park next to Zvonimir Sunny Hotel by Valamar, is the perfect spot for socializing, play, and first steps into outdoor adventures.

On Saturday and Sunday, mornings start with relaxing yoga led by Barbara Lipovšćak, a perfect way for kids and adults to ease into the day. Saturday morning also features a Kids’ MTB School with the BBK Team Rodeo crew, while both days offer kids the chance to try slacklining, participate in fun sports games, or test sport climbing on an artificial wall with expert guidance from Anima Adventures instructors.

A special attraction awaits on Sunday with children’s running races in three categories (ages 3–12). Kids will compete on 100m, 200m, and 400m tracks, experiencing a real competitive atmosphere while having a blast, with medals for the top performers! Registrations for the races will be accepted on Saturday at the Family Outdoor Corner.

The Family Outdoor Corner brings plenty of laughter, movement, and shared moments, creating memories that kids and parents will cherish for years.
